Julia
Wright was formerly Assistant Director of the South West Provincial
Employers Organisation, before leaving to set up her own training
consultancy in February 2001. Julia’s career in local government started
over 30 years ago, and she has worked for two County Councils and a
Health Authority.
She has been delivering training and development workshops for elected
members and employees since 1987. From May 1999, Julia specialised in
helping local authorities with the practical introduction of the new
political structures and the changing roles of Elected Members and the
officers supporting them. By March 2005 she had delivered over 400
workshops on working within the new structures for over 100 councils.
Her extensive client list is a testimony to her continuing success.
